I'm a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl who loves just about all types of photography. There's a special place in my heart for boudoir and I'm having a blast making the ladies of Southwest Missouri feel totally glamorous.

When I'm not taking pictures I'm enjoying being a newlywed, playing with my four legged babies, or expanding my collection of black heels.

Joplin Humane Society Big Dogs

The shelter takes in around 12,000 animals a year in a typical year and the summers are not kind. If you see someone you’re interested in, please contact the shelter directly or go in which is really the best. New animals cycle through daily so just plan on a trip in if you see someone.

The shelter is open Tuesday-Thursday 1-5PM, Friday 1-6PM, and Saturday 10-5PM for you to go in and check these cats out. Their address is 140 E Emperor Ln. Joplin, MO 64801

I’m in Time Magazine

This is a post I certainly never dreamed I would be writing. I was just published in Time Magazine because of my work with the Joplin Humane Society after the tornado.

What started out as such a nightmare experience has certainly changed me for the better. The turnout was absolutely incredible when the shelter and ASPCA announced the adoption event for the animals that no one claimed after the tornado. My faith in people was absolutely renewed. Watching 4,000 people line up in the June heat to adopt a shelter pet after a disaster is something that will stay with me forever.
